Our company is looking for a Director, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Development and M&A teams as necessary;
- The HCE BAP Director will have a broad set of responsibilities that will encompass the following;
- Significant FP&A, ISC, or commercial finance experience;
- Provide proactive and timely analysis for the Division’s Business Excellence initiatives;
- Identify and quantify risks and opportunities in current plans and forecasts;
- Establish appropriate budgetary and financial delegation levels with the Division;
- Identify Profit Assurance Programs that can be implemented to offset any significant downsides to the Plan;
- Work with Corporate to propose new policies, changes to existing policies, and interpret policies as they relate to the Division;
- Serves as primary liaison between finance leadership and business unit;
- Lead financial aspects of the planning cycle: Strategic Plan (STRAP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP);
- Position directly supervises a staff, including multiple direct reports;
- Ensure that all costs are consolidated into appropriate cost pools and that rates/standards are developed to recover these costs;
- Prepare and provide information for presentations for the Honeywell CEO and CFO (e.g. – Board of Directors, Executive Leadership and other meetings);
- Operate with minimal direction and be able to work independently in setting priorities and achieving objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
- Industry experience in the packaging or Premedia or design industries preferred;
- 5 + years in Financial Planning and Analysis management experience;
- Excellent Excel and report writing skills, Hyperion preferred;
- Undergraduate degree with focus in Business, Finance/Accounting, Management is required; an MBA is desirable;
- Experience as a Plant Controller prior to moving into corporate finance;
- Requires recurring report production and variance analysis as well as ad-hoc analysis as needed to address evolving changes within the business;
- Certification as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus, but not required;
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders in functions and teams across the business;
- People management experience – you will be managing and mentoring a team of 10 to 12 plant financial analysts;
- Global supply chain experience is highly desirable;
- Provide reporting support to Board of Directors;
- Perform financial analysis to interpret trends, variances from plan/forecast;
- Provide strategic planning and corporate modeling and strategic decision support;
- Report progress toward company and department-specific financial goals and metrics.
