Document Control Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Document Control Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Route all changes to appropriate group depending on change type;
- Cross Training with labeling;
- QC Code Set Up and Revision;
- Check sourcing on drawing matches Arena;
- Other related duties as assigned;
- Print Labels Per Spec;
- Generate production records;
- Check supplier access is checked off and has the correct people;
- Responsible as the change administrator for the Engineering group: Check for typos, verify part name/number/rev matches drawing;
- ECO/ECR Progression and Execution;
- Change Order Execution within Multiple Systems;
- Spex Index Review;
- Verify description, justification, and project are properly filled out;
- Batch Record Review, Revision, Approval and Generation;
- Report out daily activities.
Requirements:
- 1-3- years of related administrative experience;
- 1-3 years Remedy;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Knowledge and ability to use MS Office and other software applications as well as related office equipment;
- Ability to implement and manage web-based document control systems;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a close attention to detail;
- Understanding of the application of business processes in the Construction environment;
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to use written and verbal communicate skills in an effective manner with various levels of management;
- Working knowledge of ProCore, ProLog Converge, and SharePoint;
- Strong consultative and communication skills and ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, staff and external customers;
- Self-starter; able to seek out resources and structure own workflow;
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint);
- 1-3 years NextStar Scanning or experience with digitization of microfilm (plus);
- Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
