Our company is looking for a Editorial Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist editors with updating and maintaining event calendars;
  • Write and/or edit across a range of editorial verticals, including, but not limited to, location and event descriptions, feature articles, lists, etc;
  • Help manage day-to-day editorial operations;
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of weekly and monthly email newsletters;
  • Conduct content research;
  • Format and prepare content for publishing and social sharing;
  • Assist with special editorial projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • High comfort level with performing large amounts of Internet-based research;
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS);
  • Ability to quickly learn custom applications – a thirst for knowledge is necessary;
  • Experience with an email marketing platform (MailChimp, SendGrid, etc.);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work collaboratively in a team environment;
  • Excellent time management and communication skills;
  • 1-3 years in a position of digital content creation, journalism, communications, or related field;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively;
  • Ability to successfully manage several projects simultaneously and meet regular deadlines;
  • Commitment to helping produce high-quality, engaging content;
  • Strong Excel skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook;
  • Excellent organizational skills.
