Editorial Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Editorial Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist editors with updating and maintaining event calendars;
- Write and/or edit across a range of editorial verticals, including, but not limited to, location and event descriptions, feature articles, lists, etc;
- Help manage day-to-day editorial operations;
- Assist with the creation and distribution of weekly and monthly email newsletters;
- Conduct content research;
- Format and prepare content for publishing and social sharing;
- Assist with special editorial projects as needed.
Requirements:

- High comfort level with performing large amounts of Internet-based research;
- Experience with content management systems (CMS);

- Experience with an email marketing platform (MailChimp, SendGrid, etc.);
- Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work collaboratively in a team environment;
- Excellent time management and communication skills;
- 1-3 years in a position of digital content creation, journalism, communications, or related field;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively;
- Ability to successfully manage several projects simultaneously and meet regular deadlines;
- Commitment to helping produce high-quality, engaging content;
- Strong Excel skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook;
- Excellent organizational skills.
