Electrical Engineering Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provides client consultation; drawing on professional expertise and knowledge of Stantec’s services;
- Nurtures existing client relationships and proactively pursues opportunities for new business;
- Maintains current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to the applicable project and market types, and continually strengthens skills;
- The successful Project Manager will demonstrate a “client first” approach in developing key relationships;
- Holds project team members accountable for deliverables and financial performance;
- Serves as a trainer, mentor, and resource to others;
- Develops and delivers client presentations.
Requirements:
- Ability to apply logic, reasoning, and organizational skills to structure concepts and ideas into projects;
- Ability to integrate design elements with other disciplines to deliver a coordinated design;
- Familiarity with and ability to apply sustainable design principles within projects;
- Familiarity with, and ability to produce, project-related documents and documentation standards required of a Project Manager;
- Understanding and implementation of the principles of project management;
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Strong client communication and interpersonal skills;
- Functional knowledge of recent versions of CAD and BIM technologies; in particular, AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP;
- Deep understanding of the following building systems: power distribution systems, lighting systems and fire/life safety systems;
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
