Our company is looking for a Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides client consultation; drawing on professional expertise and knowledge of Stantec’s services;
  • Nurtures existing client relationships and proactively pursues opportunities for new business;
  • Maintains current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to the applicable project and market types, and continually strengthens skills;
  • The successful Project Manager will demonstrate a “client first” approach in developing key relationships;
  • Holds project team members accountable for deliverables and financial performance;
  • Serves as a trainer, mentor, and resource to others;
  • Develops and delivers client presentations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to apply logic, reasoning, and organizational skills to structure concepts and ideas into projects;
  • Ability to integrate design elements with other disciplines to deliver a coordinated design;
  • Familiarity with and ability to apply sustainable design principles within projects;
  • Familiarity with, and ability to produce, project-related documents and documentation standards required of a Project Manager;
  • Understanding and implementation of the principles of project management;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Strong client communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Functional knowledge of recent versions of CAD and BIM technologies; in particular, AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP;
  • Deep understanding of the following building systems: power distribution systems, lighting systems and fire/life safety systems;
  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
