Our company is looking for a Electrical Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and comprehend control circuits, control panels and drawings;
  • QC projects based on plans and specifications;
  • Ability to create timelines and meet or beat them;
  • Budget and Buy out up coming projects;
  • Responsible for achieving targets linked to the P&L of the Branch;
  • Manage project deliverables from estimating through closeout stages;
  • Chair project meetings including kick-offs, planning, progress updates, change management, reviews with clients, and lessons learned;
  • Manage work orders and approve invoices;
  • Holds project team members accountable for deliverables and financial performance;
  • Provides client consultation; drawing on professional expertise and knowledge of Stantec’s services;
  • Maintains current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to the applicable project and market types, and continually strengthens skills;
  • Assist in developing project chart of accounts, site logistics plan and bidding projects;
  • Responsible for successful completion (scope, schedule & budget) of projects under his/her direction;
  • Single point of contact for all client communications;
  • Supervise, coordinate and manage systems scope within multi-discipline projects to meet the needs of the contractor.

Requirements:

  • Eight – ten years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in an industrial setting;
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines;
  • Pass drug test;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • A valid “C” class drivers license with a clean driving record;
  • A valid California State Certified Journeyman Electrician license;
  • Ability to travel nationwide as needed;
  • A valid North Carolina unlimited electrical license (preferred but not required);
  • Must have excellent conflict resolution, problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical construction principles/practices required;
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Coordinate meetings, scheduling, submit deliverables and addressing outstanding ‘open items’ as requested by clients;
  • Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of a project;
  • Knowledge of NETA requirements and standards is an asset.
