Our company is looking for a Employment Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Vocational rehabilitation experience preferred;
- ACRE certification preferred;
- Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities;
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening;
- Performance of at least one year in developing and implementing vocational programs;
- Embrace the values and philosophy of Crossroads of Western Iowa;
- Pennsylvania Driver’s License;
- Vocational rehabilitation experience preferred;
- CRSS certification through IAODAPCA;
- High school diploma or GED and five years of supervised clinical experience in a mental health setting;
- Provides instruction using training strategies and supports consistent with team planning;
- Must own or have access to a car in order to be able to transport self and individuals to meetings and employment-related activities;
- Expected to conduct all agency business and complete job responsibilities in accordance with agency Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Plan;
- Valid Illinois Driver’s License with daily access to a vehicle. Must have $100,000/$300,000 auto liability insurance;
- Attends and participates in required Arc meetings, staff development and training programs;
- Marketing skills preferred;
- Computer and office technology expertise that is required to fulfill job responsibilities and assignments.
