Our company is looking for a Executive Meeting Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers;
- Solicit new business, engage new clients, and rebook existing clients;
- Follow all safety policies;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Actively sell guest rooms to small groups, ensuring monthly and quarter goals are met;
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service;
- Work within tight response deadlines;
- Meet clients prior to departure to ensure all details of the contract were delivered and to solicit any future business;
- Maintains positive relationships with all guests, vendors, colleagues and Global Sales network;
- To follow departmental policies and procedures;
- Confirm and review function details with clients prior to arrival;
- Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details within the appropriate software applications;
- Conduct pre convention meetings as required;
- Work closely with the Conference Services, Culinary team and Front Office team to communicate group details;
- Obtain rooming list details and request deposits where applicable.
Requirements:
- Delphi FDC (Salesforce) experience is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent time management, organization and detail-oriented skills;
- Professional appearance Knowledge of hotel and food & beverage operations;
- Should be able to type at least 35 words per minute;
- Compute basic arithmetic and mathematical calculations.
