Executive Search Consultant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Executive Search Consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Generating consulting grade client materials;
- Identifying and connecting with executives;
- Managing client relationships and leading client updates;
- Conducting market research and identifying prospects;
- Conduct candidate interviews;
- Development of search strategy;
- Preparing documentation on candidates’ backgrounds (resumes, profiles, status reports, references, etc.) to share with the client;
- Researching, sourcing, and identifying potential candidates using various means (phone calls, referrals, networking, database reports, etc.);
- Identifying new client leads through conversations with candidates, references, and others;
- Providing candidates and clients with timely feedback and updates on the search status;
- Assisting Helbling team members in conducting research and gathering project-specific information on an as-needed basis;
- Developing a search plan to identify potential candidates who are likely to have the required skillset and experience to succeed in the role;
- Maintaining thorough, timely, and accurate notes in the Helbling contact management database to track all search assignment activity.
Requirements:
- Consistently performing outbound activity to source clients and candidates;
- Must be comfortable establishing relationships over the phone;
- A degree is preferred but not required;
- Effective negotiating skills;
- Act with integrity, confidentiality, and an ethical mindset;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Willing to be coached and take advice and direction;
- Excellent verbal and written communication;
- Highly proactive and internally driven;
- Work well independently and in a team environment.
