Federal Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Federal Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manages group of architects and/or designers, coordinating activities of the unit;
- Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of architecture;
- Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments;
- Maintain schedule and budget until project completion;
- Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization;
- Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field;
- Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience;
- Provide high level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team members;
- Performs various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.
Requirements:
- Experience with one of the below;
- Healthcare interoperability standards (e.g. HL7, X12/EDI, claims processing, HL7 FHIR, C-CDA, ICD, LOINC, SNOMED, DICOM, NCPDP);
- Experience with Interfaces (SDLC, interface control documents, system integration);
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience;
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- 3+ years experience in technical project management;
- IT Project Management using SDLC or Agile scrum approach for federal agency (e.g. VA, DoD, CMS);
- Healthcare Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementation, data integration with EMR, interface control documents.
