Finance Program Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Finance Program Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with program management and functional disciplines to manage cost and schedule;
- Assess and quantify cost/schedule/technical status and risk, evaluate program trends, and provide project cost completion estimates;
- Perform analyses, prepare reports and communicate with parties within and outside of the organization which includes customers or suppliers;
- Conduct briefings with senior leadership regarding matters of importance to budget control for programs and to explain and influence changes;
- Provide comprehensive weekly/monthly revenue and project profitability variance analysis against monthly spends, budget and forecasts.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience of government contracts management in a DOD environment;
- Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations;
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance;
- Experience in EVMS and/or Microsoft Project;
- Broad experience in Finance program interface for proposals, billings, cost control and other financial controls;
- BS/BA (Finance / Accounting / Business);
- Excellent writing, verbal and interpersonal skills.
