Financial Analyst III Job Description

Financial Analyst III is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments. Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects. Being a Financial Analyst III prepares forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Additionally, Financial Analyst III creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. May conduct special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses. Requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Analyst III contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. To be a Financial Analyst III typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.

  • Resolve billing and payment issues with Accounts Payable and service providers;
  • Act as subject matter expert and provide guidance on outsourcing contracts pricing structure and PO process;
  • Review and approve monthly invoices for outsourcing contracts;
  • Generate periodic financial reports and analysis pertaining to the outsourcing programs.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Office product suite such as Excel and PowerPoint;
  • SAP experience preferred;
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills;
  • 5+ years of accounting and finance experience;
