Our company is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and submits invoices for government and commercial customers in compliance with contractual and FAR regulations for all contract types;
  • Identify, analyze and interpret meaningful financial trends and propose action plans for improvement;
  • Maintain the portfolio of standardized reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint with a focus on continuous enhancements and automation;
  • Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures;
  • Track and manage MIPR transactions and workflow, from receipt through contract award and obligation;
  • Working with sensitive information;
  • Ability to multi-task and manage timelines effectively;
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis;
  • Evaluating the local governments’ financial conditions, and make recommendations to FEMA regarding Community Disaster Loan cancellation amounts;
  • Work with the FP&A Manager on various financial analysis projects, presentations and other materials;
  • Compile, consolidate and analyze operational results;
  • Assisting with grants management;
  • Assist in the integration of new and acquired organizations or processes;
  • Data analytics and financial trend analysis reporting;
  • Updating Financial transactions daily.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
  • Interpersonal skills;
  • Previous experience using SAP and advanced Excel skills are strongly preferred;
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals or technical procedures;
  • Ability to handle a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information;
  • University Degree, with a focus in Finance or Accounting;
  • Must be a high energy individual with a strong desire to learn be comfortable with taking initiative;
  • Experience using Oracle, JD Edwards, or AS400 is a plus;
  • Fluency with SQL is required;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Experience in a financial analysis environment in the mortgage or commercial real estate industry;
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with limited supervision;
  • Very process oriented and organized self-starter with sharp focus on details with an awareness of the bigger picture;
  • Data analytics and financial trend analysis reporting;
  • High level of detail-orientation and accuracy.
