Financial Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Financial Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Present a professional image to employees, management and guests;
- Accurately entering invoices into Lawson and Cbord in a timely manner while ensuring that the proper approvals are documented per Company policy;
- Ensuring that merchandise receipts are received in Radius in a timely manner prior to physical inventory counts;
- Maintaining files, per Company Policy, for personnel files, vendor invoices, Human Resources compliance files and other required filings;
- Utilize programs designed to help Save the Planet;
- Accurately entering new hires into Lawson in a timely manner ensuring that the proper approvals are present per Company policy;
- Applicant must be available to work 8:30-5:30 Monday-Friday;
- Experience in the Architectural/Construction industry, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, AIA Contract Documents, and Deltek Vision is a plus;
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite;
- Must maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
Requirements:
- Ability to use independent judgment and inititative;
- Highly motivated, energetic and willing to learn;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Ability to work with interruptions in a high-energy environment;
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization;
- Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required;
- Ability to process new information quickly;
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills;
- Experienced (Non-Manager);
- 5+ years of experience;
- Associate’s Degree or Higher in Accounting;
- Experience in AP/ARC preferred. Experience in proposal writing, budget preparation, accounting procedures, and Web site design are preferred.
