Financial Operations Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in establishing and monitoring financial variances;
- Coordination of financial questions and answers resulting from detailed P&L reviews;
- Generation, analysis, and distribution of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to key stakeholders;
- Analysis of financial performance to identify trends and areas of risk and opportunity;
- Performance of financial analysis and assistance in the proforma development of potential new locations and key business initiatives;
- Learn and become a subject matter expert of industry leading technologies that include Workday (ERP), Domo (BI), and/or Adaptive Insights (Planning);
- Maintenance of key capital projects and budgets in Workday (ERP);
- Support and engagement with the Operations team providing key financial information and day to day financial support;
- Key contributor in preparing strategic input for monthly financial calls with management;
- Consolidate and synthesize information in support of capital forecasting from operations and facilities management teams.
Requirements:
- Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize activities;
- Team player that is dedicated to helping drive organizational excellence and having fun while we do it;
- Bachelor’s or post graduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related fields;
- Demonstrated ability to train and educate key regional staff;
- Strong communications, planning and organizational skills;
- Excellent presentation skills with ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences;
- Financial/Data Analysis experience;
- 2 years of experience required;
- Strong Excel user (pivot tables, lookups, etc.);
- Requires an Associate degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor’s degree a plus;
- Experience in a finance/health insurance field capacity preferred.
