Head of Strategic Finance Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Head of Strategic Finance to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven investment theses, business cases , and evaluation criteria for growth and efficiency oriented initiatives;
- Assist in development of Board presentations and materials;
- Work closely and collaboratively with Corporate Development to support acquisition target evaluation, due diligence and integration;
- Work closely and directly with the FP&A team to support financial goal setting and financial planning;
- Direct quantitative modeling efforts to quantify revenue and efficiency-related initiatives;
- Work closely and directly with the CFO and executive leadership to support company-wide strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of corporate finance and investment banking or private equity experience;
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail;
- Values-oriented, data-driven decision-making style;
- Capable of solving complex business problems;
- Experience with SQL, Hive;
- Ab i l ity to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans;
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, and ideally, self-service models;
- Keen strategy/product interest and intellectual curiosity;
- Outstanding leadership skills with 4+ years of previous people management experience.
