Head of Talent Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Head of Talent to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Achieves hiring objectives by running an end-to-end recruiting process including sourcing, scheduling, and closing;
- Works closely with the leadership team to build a recruiting process that creates an excellent candidate experience;
- Drives our diversity efforts and ensures the interview feedback process is consistent and free from bias;
- Manages jobs in Lever through monitoring and progress reporting;
- Manage external recruiters and implement systems to manage each and every engagement efficiently;
- Implement best practices for hiring and managing remote teams;
- Lead our ambitious hiring plan initiatives by implementing scalable systems and processes;
- Collaborate with hiring managers in the full cycle recruiting process; from screening candidates to scheduling interviews and negotiating offers;
- Lay the foundation to build out a more robust recruiting team as the company begins to scale;
- Actively source for talent through multiple mediums and networks;
- provide an efficient and best in class candidate experience,
- act as a brand ambassador for us, effectively communicating and championing our value proposition to attract and close highly sought after candidates,
- collaborate cross functionally to develop and manage recruiting best practices (ie. with HR, finance, legal);
- Deploy creative tactics in candidate sourcing including community partnerships, referrals, networks, social channels, events;
- Identifying, evaluating and investing in the worlds most exceptional founders for our incubator program.
Requirements:
- Expertise in technical recruiting;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate at various levels in an organization;
- Ability to represent the Labelbox brand and value system during each stage of recruiting;
- Experience utilizing a variety of sources to identify and attract prospective talent;
- 5-10 years of recruiting experience across various disciplines in a high growth SaaS company;
- Strong leadership skills – willingness and ability to lead and offer direction;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience;
- BA Degree;
- Proven track record of sourcing and recruiting passive candidates;
- Located in San Francisco area;
- Full understanding of the roles & skills vital to a growing tech company as they scale;
- Minimum 5-7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a VC/Product Studio environment;
- Experience recruiting for various departments and seniority levels;
- Full understanding of the roles & skills vital to a growing tech company as they scale.
