Our company is looking for a Information Technology Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Hold meetings and develop project lans with milestones and escalate issues to senior management when needed;
- Develop detailed project plans identifyingtasks, resources, milestone and other relevant details to each specificproject;
- Updating and managing scope document, risk register, project plan, risk scorecards and other program artifacts;
- Coordinate web development, systemsadministrators for web/server support, as required;
- Contractor shall maintain enterprise-levellicensing inventory for initial project software, renewals, and upgrades;
- Coordinate each new project with the projectleads to customize the project plan to meet specific manning, time, and budgetresources;
- Provide Project Management expertise on future projects;
- Train NOSC personnel on the implementation anduse of Microsoft Project and other project management/planning tools;
- Develop detailed project plans, lists ofmaterials and schedules;
- Maintain a file plan and records to archiveproject-related data for future reference IAW Air Force and local directives;
- Capture project data and make it available viathe web to all end users and local agencies;
- Provide project management oversight ofinformation systems and technology projects from inception to completion;
- Provide detailed professional reports andpresentations to assist Government senior leaders with strategic planning anddecision-making;
- Track project resources requests, Request forQuotes (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Statements of Work (SOW).
Requirements:
- Ability to articulate pros and cons associated with IT solutions;
- Must be able to put in long hours to accomplish goals;
- Experience working for a fast-paced managed service provider (MSP);
- Creative problem solving skills;
- Must be able to work independently;
- Must be comfortable working with computers;
- Experience in Agile estimation and planning;
- Demonstrated negotiating skills – need to be able to work with changing times, dates, people, priories;
- Travel up to 50%
- Proficient using MS Project and MS Office;
- Experienced with leading projects in a structured PMO environment. Creation, management and ownership of key deliverables in a PMLC / SDLC framework;
- Analytical with attention to detail as well as ability to understand the big picture and impacts to cross functional areas;
- PPM tools such as Innotas (Planview), Clarity or Planisware;
- 2-5 years experience managing projects;
- Ability to work across multiple time zones especially Europe.
