Our company is looking for a Installation Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine steps necessary to meet project deadlines. Respond with urgency and flexibility to meet frequently changing project schedules;
  • Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers;
  • Communicate with mills and other distributors to determine the availability of products;
  • Lead meetings with sales and management with prepared reports to communicate monthly performance updates;
  • Maintain required documentation in job folders and on the computer system to support the projects. Assemble all information relating to the projects;
  • Maintain and develop a productive team by hiring, training, providing professional development and daily performance management for all installers;
  • Daily truck routing with internal software to ensure timely delivery and installation;
  • Monitor progress of installs with meticulous attention to detail;
  • Communicate logistics of jobsite for receiving deliveries in the most expeditious and cost effective manner;
  • Collaborate with STM to ensure SOP is used for ticket writing;
  • Assist when needed to complete installation jobs;
  • Perform consistent, timely follow-up with suppliers, tracing as many as thirty separate shipments of items depending on the complexity of the job;
  • Communicate job schedules to coordinate with the client, the general contractor, and/or Field Supervisor;
  • Always represent the company in a professional manner ensuring quality customer service;
  • Manage email inbox for incoming deliveries and local vendor pickups.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Maintain professional demeanor with customers at all times;
  • Must have strong mathematical skills for product calculations, which are critical to the project;
  • Must be able to interpret/understand blueprints;
  • Knowledge of installation procedures;
  • Knowledge of flooring products;
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience.
