Our company is looking for a International Tax Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on income tax treaty planning opportunities arising from inbound and outbound cross-border investing and trading activities;
  • Develop a perspective on key global trends, including globalisation, and how they impact the firm and our clients;
  • Coach others and encourage them to take ownership of their development;
  • Act to resolve issues which prevent effective team working, even during times of change and uncertainty;
  • Pursue opportunities to develop existing and new skills outside of comfort zone;
  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations;
  • Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations;
  • Assist in international tax planning, M&A integration and other tax related projects;
  • Provide support to both internal and external audits;
  • Perform tax research and analysis of technical tax issues, tax legislation and regulatory proposals;
  • Managing international components of the co-sourced US tax compliance process, including all related computations, forms, disclosures & schedules;
  • Provide tax advisory support on international income and transactional taxes to cross functional teams;
  • Support tax technology, automation, and process improvement initiatives as it relates to international tax matters and computations;
  • Support global transfer pricing planning, computations, maintenance and documentation;
  • Managing all non-US income tax compliance review, including coordination with internal and external teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills;
  • Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations;
  • Pursue opportunities to develop existing and new skills outside of comfort zone;
  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations;
  • Coach others and encourage them to take ownership of their development;
  • Act to resolve issues which prevent effective team working, even during times of change and uncertainty;
  • Proficiency with Excel, CorpTax and SAP or similar;
  • Familiarity with M&A related issues;
  • Experience using online tools to research tax issues;
  • Ability to lead teams and individuals;
  • Ability to teach and train others;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Industry or functional expertise;
  • At least 5 of practice in public accounting and taxation;
  • 5 – 7 years of international tax experience with public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department.
