IT Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a IT Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities;

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business (Accounting) and/or Information Systems degree;
- Procurement and maintaining the necessary requirements for the software environment growth;
- Proxy-server management;
- Diverse network systems administration including cloud, managed and dedicated infrastructure;
- Wide range of process automation projects;
- Internal reporting projects;
- Cloud systems monitoring and support;
- Vendor management and cost reporting;
- Responding to requests for technical assistance in person and remotely;
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners;
- Pinpoint recurring technical issues and present solutions to address the root of the problems;
- Focus for extended periods of time to achieve goals.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business (Accounting) and/or Information Systems degree;
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve success within a consulting environment;
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities;
- Associate’s degree in a technical field, plus four years’ related experience; or;
- Cross-analyze ITPRs with DADMS and eMASS IAW applicable statutes, regulations, policy, and guidance;
- Manage procurement submitters though the ITPR process;
- ELA reviews on ITPRs by verifying if requested services are compliant with DoN policies;
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Business or related field, plus two years’ related experience; or;
- Develop well written documents and communications, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), briefs, and task instructions;
- Analyze subordinate commands’ contracts and approve ITPRs based on completion of contracting information;
- Analyze subordinate commands’ budget/ spending and approve ITPRs based on available funds;
- Proactive involvement in improvement of policies and procedures;
- Problem-solving and analysis skills will be a must;
- Solutions oriented, “Can Do” attitude;
- Excellent verbal and written skills as well as comprehension.
