Our company is looking for a IT Business Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate collaborative system and data design sessions with the user community and technical architecture resources/development resources;
  • Document, analyze, and assess current business processes and underlying systems/applications;
  • Plan, elicit, capture, analyze, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements;
  • Conduct business in a professional, competent and ethical manner;
  • Ensure all application and access control changes are authorized by management;
  • Handle confidential matters and information professionally;
  • Assist in the development of data models and interface design specifications;
  • Assist in systems and business process support across multiple client engagements;
  • Conduct impact analysis of technology changes on business processes and existing technology;
  • Ensure all application changes are properly tested;
  • Perform current state analysis of existing business systems, applications, and functions;
  • Coordinate functional and user acceptance testing by executing the testing strategy, scheduling resources, and tracking test performance;
  • Log all system and process changes in FastTrack change management application;
  • Coordinate activities including on-time delivery, testing, and production moves;
  • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to write business process documentation in clear and understandable fashion (Required 4 Years);
  • BA/BS degree with major/minor combination of Business and Computer Science or 10+ years comparable business experience. (Required 4 Years);
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in the full Systems Development Life Cycle and Testing Methodologies. (Required 5 Years);
  • Excellent computer skills: Excel, ODBC, data reviewing, general knowledge of computer system capabilities, any scripting a plus;
  • Experience with eCommerce systems a plus;
  • Advanced ability to present complex positions and strategies for business decisions, processes and plans;
  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in a corporate environment;
  • Scrum management tools;
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, Visio and/or SharePoint is a plus;
  • Must be detail oriented;
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business/Systems Analyst in a manufacturing environment (medical industry helpful);
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance principles.
