Our company is looking for a It Internal Auditor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction to other internal audit personnel as needed;
  • Some travel may be required;
  • Perform follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit observations;
  • Communicate audit results to process owners in a manner conducive to building consensus and facilitate identification of underlying root causes;
  • Planning and executing IT audits to assess the design and effectiveness of controls;
  • Evaluating audit results to determine if issues exist and improvement recommendations are necessary;
  • Participate in process re-engineering with business partners in a consultative role;
  • Build relationships and work with process owners to gain an understanding of their operations and underlying internal control environment;
  • Keep abreast of best practices, both internally and externally, and provide a conduit for introducing those practices to the Company;
  • Communication with audit, technology and business management throughout the audit lifecycle;
  • Contributing to the development of the audit team through keeping up with current technology risks.

Requirements:

  • Financial services industry experience;
  • CIA, CISA, CPA, or other relevant certifications;
  • General knowledge and experience with data analytics, system configuration management, agile methodology;
  • Keen desire to learn and understand new topics and areas; demonstrated ability to quickly grasp fundamental operational drivers;
  • Proven ability to analyze large amounts of information and identify patterns/trends linked to organizational challenges;
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and/or auditing standards;
  • 1 or more years of information systems, security operations, IT audit, or IT risk management related experience;
  • Strong teamwork and Project Management experience;
  • Hands on administration experience with a variety of systems (Windows, UNIX, Mainframe, AD, RACF, etc);
  • Ability to meet deadlines;
  • Experience supporting organizational change and operational maturation at scale is a plus;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • BA/BS and 3-4 years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
