Our company is looking for a IT Technical Recruiter to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed reference checking;
  • Development of job descriptions ensuring consistent practices;
  • Establish positive working relationships and develop recruitment strategies per business needs;
  • Maintain applicant tracking system and/or internal database of candidates;
  • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to verify that position requirements are met;
  • Creatively source through social media, professional networking sites, referrals, organizations, etc. to identify candidates;
  • Format resumes for submittal to external clients;
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and client;
  • Manage all communication with candidates and conduct follow-up calls in a timely manner;
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source candidates for future requisitions;
  • Create job announcements to post on job boards;
  • Document/record all recruiting activity and results;
  • Work with internal staff and external clients to review and understand technical job requirements for both open requisitions and pipeline recruiting.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access);
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple open positions;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to organize resources and establish priorities;
  • Ability to learn technical information and understand IT trends;
  • Ability to utilize cold calling and networking to source candidates;
  • 2-3 years of Full Life Cycle recruiting;
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
  • Ability to evaluate/interview candidates;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of candidates in a diverse community;
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, as needed;
  • Understanding of national job boards such as Monster, CareerBuilder, Dice, and LinkedIn;
  • Ability to work efficiently under the pressure of constant deadlines;
  • Strong negotiating skills coupled with the ability to “sell” a position to a candidate;
  • Excellent customer service skills with candidates and all levels of management.
