Our company is looking for a Junior Buyer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Key Responsibilities;
  • Assists departments with following purchasing procedures, as well as following up on their orders to ensure that deliveries are timely;
  • Prepares reports, spreadsheets and other related documentation as directed;
  • Inputs data into Stratton Warren;
  • Conducts supplier and material analysis;
  • Assists department and warehouse management with periodic Slow Moving Product reports;
  • Assists and/or issues purchase order follow-up to ensure on-time deliveries and correct pricing, terms and specifications;
  • Handles special projects research for the department;
  • Work cross-functionally between buying and operations;
  • Marketing products on eCommerce sites including Amazon and Shopify hosted sites;
  • Monitor and replenish inventory of brands primarily ranging sporting goods and apparel or gifts and housewares;
  • Execute on promotional pricing plans to increase sales and turn-over;
  • Track orders and manage supply chain to streamline operations from vendors to Amazon FBA.

Requirements:

  • Good multitasking skills;
  • Intermediate PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Ability to be nimble and problem-solve with an entrepreneurial attitude;
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently;
  • 1-2 years experience in eCommerce, sales, or analytics;
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, timely, and professionally within our team and with external vendors;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or equivalent applicable certification;
  • Experience in Excel managing data with advanced formulas and functions;
  • Knowledgeable in simple Retail Math & Analysis.
