Our company is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with organizations to disseminate upcoming task assignments and to provide task status;
  • Update project dashboards in MS SharePoint;
  • Manage project schedules;
  • Additional activities include participating in supporting System Support Agents (SSAs) in executing day-to-day project management activities;
  • Map and improve complex business processes and communicating processes solutions to the client;
  • Create project status briefings and reports;
  • Track and reconcile parallel schedules;
  • Identify and document project issues, risks, and lesson learned;
  • Assist in product and feature QA testing and creation of educational training material;
  • Utilize project management tools to keep track of projects and tasks;
  • Schedule, coordinate and facilitate meetings;
  • Create and manage project timeline based on communicated business priorities;
  • Develop and maintain new analysis or project management tools for internal or external use;
  • Working with Senior Project Manager on several projects which may include those listed above or others;
  • Manage time and resources effectively to stick to budgets, including project planning, tracking, and adjusting as needed to stay on track.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience;
  • Experience crafting project deliverables;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Monitor monthly progress updates on project schedules;
  • Organize and manage Pre-Construction Meetings (Estimator to PM Turnover and Job Start);
  • Daily review of open issues in the PM module;
  • Monitor margin gain and fade, maximizing gain and minimizing fade;
  • Plan and prepare project Exit Strategy per client’s standard procedure;
  • Weekly review of job status report and indirect report to ensure general conditions productivity;
  • Deliver project to customers with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction;
  • Complete monthly cost projections using standard template and submit them to Project Executive and/or Branch Manager;
  • Obtain 80% of commitments (materials and subcontracts) by 10% complete on labor for all projects;
  • Identify change orders before affects project;
  • Monitor rental equipment;
  • Acquire permits and licenses for all projects; ensure inspections are handled correctly and timely.
