Lead Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lead Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support standard annual reward cycles (e. g. PDA, AIP, ASR);
- Provide excellence in customer service for P&R within the MO Business;
- Proactively forecast and plan for client work both annually and per project;
- Where required, represent P&R for MO Business in broader meetings and networks across ABB;
- Ensure the P&R Corporate Guardrails are applied in respect of activity undertaken across the MO Business for P&R matters;
- Utilize Project Management best practices to develop effective strategies for managing client portfolios to ensure efficient operations;
- Act as the key-point-of-contact for designated area in the MO Business;
- Understand the overall MO Business Strategy and develop solutions in relation to P&R needs for the MO business in line with this;
- Identify, develop and champion one key topic of interest within P&R for the MO Business;
- Gain deep knowledge of client processes in order to integrate those into agency workflow;
- Work with the People Analytics Team and MO HR Operations Analyst to provide relevant data analytics and conclusions for P&R;
- Support other team members and help each other to achieve goals;
- Train and mentor junior project management staff;
- Partner with Talent Management Team on staffing strategies and annual capacity planning;
- Provide input to line manager of their project team member’s performance relative to project tasks.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal, written and team collaboration skills;
- Experience working with an ERP Ecosystem;
- Experience with current program management tools – Atlassian Jira, SAP Solution Manager, Microsoft SharePoint;
- Some travel may be required;
- Strong finance skills;
- Experience in personnel management;
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to occasionally travel to/from job sites;
- Detail oriented;
- Knowledge of Atlassian Jira, SAP Solution Manager, and Microsoft SharePoint;
- Strong servant leadership style;
- Proficient in communicating internally, and externally as needed, translating dev speak to client speak and vice versa;
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, while adapting to the various personalities and experience levels of the Project management team;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience;
- Excels in problem solving and collaboration with internal teams and clients;
- Proficient in problem-solving and conceptual skills to recommend approaches and methods.
