Learning Consultant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Learning Consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Other duties as required;
- Partner with senior Unboxed leaders to maximize strategic opportunities and share insights to influence product roadmap;
- Analyze and interpret available data for insights into causes and opportunities within client organizations;
- Evaluates learning technology solutions to ensure they are meeting the needs of the organization;
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to become a trusted partner in decision making and implementation;
- Motivate and train large and small groups from front line to senior level employees;
- Deliver classroom-based and virtual instructor led training for broad range of participants;
- Proactively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze performance gaps and learning needs;
- ANCC Board Certification preferred;
- Establish and manage logistical requirements to implement learning and development programs;
- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator preferred or within two years of hire;
- Strong large and small group facilitation skills required;
- Establish and manage strong working relationships with internal partners and external vendors;
- Incorporate feedback gathered from participants and other relevant audiences to improve training, processes and products;
- Certified CPR Instructor and ACLS Instructor within one year of hire.
Requirements:
- Ability to travel as needed (less than 10%);
- A bility to work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and influence key stakeholders;
- Experience with virtual facilitation using Microsoft Teams and/or WebEx;
- Expertise in Learning & Development methodologies, tools, technologies and processes;
- Project/Program Management Experience;
- Experience with supporting projects with across one of the following industries: software engineering, Cloud engineering, and Agile development;
- HS Diploma or GED;
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- 3+ years of experience in the areas of learning delivery, HR systems, and learning technologies;
- Performs other related work as required or requested;
- Serves as resource person on committees, task forces, meetings and activities to assist the hospital and system achievement of strategic objectives;
- Demonstrate ability to gather, interpret and analyze data in order to build an effective and efficient learning plan;
- Ability to prioritize work tasks in accordance with goals and to make effective use of time in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.
