Our company is looking for a Loan Officer Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing customer’s credit and financial scenario and determining appropriate loan product(s);
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for the customer, and keeping the customer informed throughout the process;
  • Managing new files from time of contract through closing;
  • Pull credit reports;
  • Social Media Marketing;
  • Meet with borrowers as requested by Loan Officer;
  • Working knowledge of loan program guidelines including conventional, jumbo, and government loan programs;
  • Excellent communication and people skills required;
  • Draw the application documents and send packet to client for signature and verify application data;
  • Performing basic income calculations;
  • Complete Fannie Mae Form 1003 and complete loan setup in Encompass;
  • Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies;
  • Assist Loan Officer in providing required reporting as needed;
  • Ability to manage a pipeline and collect documents pertinent to mortgage loan origination;
  • Manage monthly compliance-approved email marketing to realtors.

Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc;
  • Individual must be a self-starter, highly organized, an efficient multi-tasker and must have great people skills;
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with at least two years of experience in Mortgage lending or related field;
  • Meeting goals set by team lead in regard to time frames – we always close our clients on time;
  • Communicating with borrowers, processors, operations staff, title companies, Realtors, etc., in an effort to expedite mortgage process;
  • Warm welcome to Realtors and Clients;
  • Performing basic income calculations;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills;
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage lending;
  • Disclosing and submitting loans to Operations Department – lots of attention to detail;
  • Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness;
  • Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service;
  • Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting;
  • Social media marketing;
  • Requesting and following up on required documentation from our clients.
