Our company is looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer service skills: It is essential that they are customer focused – they must think and act from customer perspective;
  • Correct freight settlement documents to ensure the proper accruing of freight on a daily basis;
  • Supports the development and implementation of improved processes and systems and maintains master data;
  • Delivers on budget and targets within the framework. Ensures the Logistics performance targets are achieved;
  • May reconfigure converters;
  • Coordinating calibration of MCS and test equipment;
  • Provide special event assistance to Facilities Department;
  • Responsible for safe, efficient, and accurate delivery of material the and equipment;
  • May operate a forklift;
  • All other duties as directed by the Logistics Manager;
  • Maintain Operation of Copy Machines located in the Central Service Areas;
  • Independently manages material procurement via Bill of Material (BOM) for the assigned program;
  • Establish and maintain a relationship with copier Representatives;
  • May clean and screen customer premise equipment (converters and modems);
  • Responsible for proper vehicle operation including thorough pre/post-trips and record keeping.

  • Quick learner, motivated to continuously develop, and grow;
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team;
  • Ability to comply with all Company implemented safety procedures;
  • Ability to identify new methods/processes, determine impact and develop implementation plan;
  • Maintain regular attendance for hours assigned;
  • College degree or 1+ years of related experience;
  • Key Experiences/Achievements;
  • Good organizational and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and electronics;
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Ability to use any equipment in a safe manner as it pertains to job;
  • Familiarity with purchasing requirements;
  • Familiar with Leidos Purchasing Procedures.
