Our company is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Solidify & build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers;
  • Manage project deliveries;
  • Billing;
  • Scheduling;
  • Managing the submittal and closeout process;
  • Project coordination including RFIs and coordination drawings;
  • Manpower control;
  • Manage and successfully close construction contracts within the gross margins established by management;
  • Coordinate manpower as required with other projects in the company;
  • Budgeting and cost control;
  • Develops and delivers project related client presentations;
  • Proactively pursues additional knowledge in related disciplines by attending available in house and external training;
  • Actively participates in meetings, initiatives, and projects that support studio and firm-wide goals;
  • Meets technical, contractual, schedule, budgetary and client service objectives for each project;
  • May periodically act as QC reviewer on projects.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to present concepts to various audiences;
  • Ability to successfully work independently;
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software;
  • Must have strong customer service skills;
  • Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, or 10 years of field experience in mechanical construction – plumbing and/or HVAC only;
  • Accredited 4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management and a minimum of 8 -10 years’ related experience;
  • Ability to implement and oversee technologies such as BIM and LEAN principles;
  • Revit, AutoCad, Trimble, and MS Office a plus;
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills;
  • Minimum 4 yrs verifiable Project Management experience working in the areas of commercial HVAC and Plumbing.
