Our company is looking for a Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Senior Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build workpapers to compute gain on sale and step-up in basis, including estimated tax payments;
  • Deliver a professional level of interaction with the deal team and manage the flow of services;
  • Train, develop, and coach staff and seniors;
  • Research complex technical tax issues and deliver findings in a written report;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and service professionals;
  • Review federal and multi-state income tax returns for partnerships, S corporations and C corporations;
  • Able to follow through on services and consulting opportunities internally and externally in a timely manner;

Requirements:

  • Experience supervising and training staff;
  • CPA license or Law degree;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong project management and organizational skills;
  • A minimum of 5 years of tax preparation and consulting at a public accounting firm;
  • Excellent research and presentation skills;
  • Ability to research complex tax matters;
  • Ability to undertake multiple simultaneous projects/tasks;
  • High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and tax preparation software;
  • Master’s in taxation or law degree is a plus;
  • Master’s in taxation or law degree is a plus;
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting.
