Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Senior Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Senior Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Build workpapers to compute gain on sale and step-up in basis, including estimated tax payments;
- Deliver a professional level of interaction with the deal team and manage the flow of services;
- Train, develop, and coach staff and seniors;
- Research complex technical tax issues and deliver findings in a written report;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and service professionals;
- Review federal and multi-state income tax returns for partnerships, S corporations and C corporations;
- Able to follow through on services and consulting opportunities internally and externally in a timely manner;

Requirements:
- Experience supervising and training staff;
- CPA license or Law degree;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong project management and organizational skills;
- A minimum of 5 years of tax preparation and consulting at a public accounting firm;
- Excellent research and presentation skills;
- Ability to research complex tax matters;
- Ability to undertake multiple simultaneous projects/tasks;
- High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and tax preparation software;
- Master’s in taxation or law degree is a plus;
- Master’s in taxation or law degree is a plus;
- Undergraduate degree in accounting.
