Payments Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Payments Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and track performance of each Payment Processor;
- Continually assess talent and coach team members;
- Resolve functionality issues and address more complex program issues;
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities;
- Achieve qualitative and quantitative targets;
- Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports;
- Supervise a team of Payment Processors to include staffing, coaching, performance management and problem solving;
- Coordinate with IT to continually improve application function and design;
- Manage escalations which may require additional research and knowledge;
- Train team on policies and procedures when speaking and corresponding with vendors;
- Develop department procedures, policies, and standards.
Requirements:
- Ability to think strategically and to lead;
- Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques;
- Associates degree in Business Management or similar;
- 2-4 years working experience as a Manager;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent phone contact skills including active listening;
- Basic spreadsheet proficiency with Microsoft Excel, as well as Microsoft Office suite;
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills;
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
