Planning & Analysis Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Planning & Analysis Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination and preparation of various Industry Conference presentations and other external presentations as needed;
- Support portfolio managers, Investment Risk, and other Finance areas on ad-hoc assignments;
- Partner with Investment Operations and CIO Technology & Operations to maintain and update reporting structures/tools;
- Competitor analysis related to the investment portfolio.
Requirements:
- Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- High attention to detail;
- Ability to collaborate and foster relationships across multiple departments;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, and challenging environment;
- 3 – 5 years of financial analysis experience;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary with an ability to interact effectively with all levels of management;
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a view toward enhancing analytical skills;
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to learn new platforms (e.g. Tableau);
- General knowledge of investments is a plus.
