Our company is looking for a Portfolio Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing proprietary risk systems for monitoring of portfolio exposures;
  • Responding to ad hoc requests from the Portfolio Management team;
  • Coordinating with Portfolio Management on re-balancing of portfolios;
  • Ensuring investment objectives are reflected across portfolios in scope;
  • Conducting performance and attribution analyses;
  • Assisting in account transitions and cash flow management;
  • Monitoring portfolio positions and products versus client guidelines in concert with Compliance team.

Requirements:

  • Proactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approach;
  • BA/BS degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or economics or related field with strong record of academic achievement;
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States for a minimum of 5 years;
  • 0-3 years of experience;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong interest in investment management (3.4 GPA);
  • Possess a client service mindset;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills;
  • Strong appetite and enthusiasm for utilizing innovative technology & digitalization;
  • Interest in pursuing the CFA designation;
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of DCF, NPV and cash flow models;
  • Flexibility to work across time zones, as work flow requires (availability to join periodic early and late calls);
  • Strong financial and analytical ability;
  • Highly skilled in modeling investments in Excel; Argus experience is strongly preferred.
