Premium Auditor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Premium Auditor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare schedule to maximize optimal use of time;
- Prepare for the audit by identifying the necessary information and type of records needed;
- Correspond with insured via phone, email and mail to setup audit appointments;
- Prepare complete audit document, explain results to insured and communicate the results to the Home Office.
Requirements:
- Entry Level and Military candidates are encouraged to apply;
- Outgoing Personality that enjoys regional travel and meeting new people everyday;
- Organized and able to thrive working on your own;
- 2+ years of accounting experience;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Work towards achieving Associate in Premium Auditing 91 (APA 91) and Associate in Premium Auditing 92 (APA 92) is encouraged;
- Demonstrate a proficiency in usage of computer tools including: Microsoft Excel, Internet research applications, etc;
- Ability to work independently from a home based office;
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation;
- Remain informed with all insurance manuals, premium audit manuals, handbooks, guides and related materials;
- Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined and exhibit a willingness to learn;
- Ability to effectively communicate and work independently without direct supervision;
- 2 years Underwriting experience;
- Must have valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing;
- 1 year Premium Audit experience.
