Our company is looking for a Principal Business Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the needs of Order to Cash and the business groups in strategic system and tool discussions and design;
  • Work with IT and other teams as the business representative during system implementations and upgrades;
  • Work directly with Business to capture and documents detailed Business requirements for Data Warehousing projects;
  • Prioritize tasks and deliverables in alignment with the business needs and Order to Cash goals;
  • Develop SQL queries, scripts, user defined functions, views, and triggers for business logic implementation;
  • Architect and develop analytical solutions that provide insights;
  • Troubleshoot systems issues, identify path for resolution, and ensure resolution occurs;
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key partners in Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and Marketing teams;
  • Lead UAT efforts, including training UAT testers and creating documentation and testing scripts where necessary;
  • Collaborate with client partners and team members to translate requested requirements into effective IT solutions;
  • Architect and develop end to end scalable analytical solutions with Tableau;
  • Simplify complex business problems and extract insights from large data sets;
  • Learn and document existing processes and procedures related to order to cash operations.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in computer science, engineering, or business with 5+ years of experience;
  • Good Knowledge of database, SQL etc. will be plus;
  • Ability to work directly with executives, engineers, and analysts when it comes to defining metrics, crafting solutions and providing insights;
  • Analyzes source data;
  • Expertise with business intelligence solutions, Tableau preferred;
  • Should have good SQL Database knowledge;
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in architecture and design of enterprise data solutions, applications, and integrations; or;
  • Advanced data visualization skills;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
  • Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies;
  • Should have strong functional knowledge on Life sciences, Pharma;
  • Experience with SQL is a plus;
  • MBA a plus;
  • Experience working directly with business users to build reports and dashboards as well as solving business questions with data;
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
