Our company is looking for a Procurement Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare electronic contract and grant file folders, and procurement assistance documents;
  • Respond to No Funds Extension (NFE) requests and coordinate approval and modifications as necessary;
  • Interface with Business Financial Managers (BFMs), Program Analyst/Officers, and Support Contractors to check status on actions;
  • Conduct special projects;
  • Prepare and upload congressionally required Contract Action Reports (CARs) to the Federal Procurement Data system – Next Generation (FPDS-NG);
  • Respond to both supervisory and non-supervisory contracting officer and contract specialist requests;
  • Draft purchase/delivery orders and modifications;
  • Schedule and organize meetings;
  • Staff file room when necessary;
  • Interface with Finance Office on Obligation/Commitment issues;
  • Prepare, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to duties;
  • Knowledge and understanding of contract file records management and Federal records management requirements;
  • Knowledge and understanding of contract file documentation requirements;
  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement administrative support duties and responsibilities;
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office programs and data management systems.
