Our company is looking for a Program Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily work assignments for each crew in collaboration with Director of Education;
  • Facilitate the activity, and be aware of all residents at all times;
  • Assist in the training and orientation of Crew Leaders;
  • Coordinate daily tool and water delivery and pick up to all field locations as needed;
  • Daily supervision and management of Crew Leaders;
  • Keep truck clean, organized and fueled as needed;
  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets for program tracking and financial management;
  • Assembles, erects, dismantles, and stores the equipment and supplies used in the recreation program and leaves areas in good condition;
  • Supports the University’s goal on workplace diversity and EEO goals and objectives concerning employment and promotional opportunities;
  • Assist in the administration of the Behavior Modification program;
  • Maintains the stock for the incentives and outwear;
  • Inventories supplies for the daily operation of the meal program (where applicable);
  • Prepares reports and spreadsheets containing findings, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations, as requested;

Requirements:

  • Computer and Internet savvy. Proficient in Office Suite;
  • 2 years of experience managing a group;
  • 2 years of experience working in a leadership role;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • 2 years of years of experience and success in leading and or teaching young people ages 15-18;
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain facility access clearance is required;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Answering and directing telephone calls;
  • Greeting and directing visitors and students;
  • Experience with grantmaking processes at a public or private foundation strongly preferred;
  • Must be able to travel by automobile, plane, train, etc.; occasional overnight travel may be required;
  • Prior experience working seniors and/or adults with special needs preferred;
  • Takes initiative, is self-motivated, and has a desire to learn and improve skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Experience working with donor agencies (USAID, USDA, World Bank, etc.) or development organizations is preferred.
