Our company is looking for a Program Manager 2 to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages fiscal activities, including procurement and budget analysis;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned;
  • Design features by converting complex requirements, metrics, and policy into technical feature specifications;
  • Apply data driven insight where possible to improve efficiency;
  • Defining the key set of security controls to protect our customer’s data;
  • Represent Microsoft Office 365 in various customer briefings and security conferences;
  • Develop credible execution plans;
  • Become a subject matter expert in both service and product security;
  • Development of analytics capabilities, driving business insights and market analysis;
  • doing everything in the “open”, and engaging the OSS community;
  • Managing suppliers to meet program objectives;
  • Developing new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plans;
  • Establishment and management of the program and subordinate baselines;
  • Creation, review and finalization of the program Statement of Work;
  • Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization.

Requirements:

  • Previous software development experience required;
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently while dealing with ambiguous data points and situations, with strong positive attitude;
  • Demonstrated success driving strategic partner engagements;
  • Accountable for and capable of working on multiple concurrent projects and meeting deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently in highly ambiguous environments, with both technical and business groups;
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, OR equivalent industry experience;
  • Great design and problem-solving skills, with a bias for customer obsession, data-driven quality, and engineering excellence;
  • Passion for delivering customer-obsessed user experiences;
  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects;
  • Knowledge in making sound presentations to management on complex topics;
  • This position is located in Redmond, WA. Remote candidates must be willing to consider relocation;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline;
  • 2+ years working on developer-targeted experiences & solutions;
  • Code Management experience with Git is preferred but not required;
  • Proven architecting/designing and coding skills in C# and full stack web development.
