Our company is looking for a Project Manager – Heavy Civil to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure acceptable “Contractor Performance Rating” scores for each job;
  • Monthly tracking of profit and loss on all jobs;
  • Weekly tracking of Labor performance on all jobs;
  • Negotiate Change Orders;
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with client and A/E contacts, to facilitate construction activities;
  • Review & finalize project costs & adjustments upon project completion;
  • Proactively recognize and manage potential claim/change orders/value engineering issues on projects;
  • Plan, organize and staff key field positions through Human Capital Department, subordinate Project Superintendents, etc;
  • Establish project objectives, schedules, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy;
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives;
  • Handle all correspondence with Owner and Subcontractor;
  • Perform design reviews on design build projects;
  • Coordinating with project participants including design consultants, contractors and your own team;
  • Prepare, review, update and report on construction cost reports and labour productivity reports;
  • Ensure everyone on the site are following safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, or Civil engineering;
  • Heavy Civil Construction experience preferred;
  • Minimum of 5 – 10 years of related experience;
  • Proficient in Excel, adobe, Microsoft word;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills,
