Our company is looking for a Quality Auditor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Report problems or inconsistencies to supervisors or management;
  • Audit boxes making sure P.O. numbers and labels are correct;
  • Ensure everything matches the information on the blueprint before going out;
  • Document and report non-conformances to specifications using computerized quality documentation system;
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned;
  • Contain non-conforming parts and materials;
  • Prioritize the order of short-quantity loads, and manage first in, first out (FIFO) flow of received goods;
  • Determine the methods and processes needed to measure part conformance according to the allowed dimensional tolerances and normal gauging practices;
  • Provide quality related trained as necessary or requested at client sites;
  • Apply audit principles, processes and methods to ensure audits are performed in a consistent and systematic manner;
  • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities;
  • Create post-finding reports and presentations;
  • Communicate audit findings to client in a professional manner;
  • Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential;
  • Understand a history of assigned client organizations and their structure, purpose and management practices.

Requirements:

  • Ability to use computer software programs;
  • Ability to move or lift 50 pounds if when needed;
  • Ability to work in a warehouse setting;
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings;
  • You are self-motivated and a desire to help improve Equifax client deliverables through quality assurance and controls;
  • You are a natural high performer who strives for excellence in adhering to departmental guidelines;
  • You have prior unemployment claims experience;
  • You will display objective thinking, judgment, and leadership skills;
  • Ability to audit in a professional, ethical, and objective manner using and interpreting applicable standards and requirements;
  • Very good eye for detail;
  • Knowledge of safety procedures;
  • Prior experience in Quality control;
  • Demonstrated ability in handling and maintaining precision measuring tools, equipment, and gauges;
  • Compliance with policies and governmental regulations;
  • Proactive problem solver.
