Recruitment specialists , sometimes known as personnel recruiters or ” head hunters ,” find, screen, and interview applicants for job openings in an organization. They search for applicants by posting listings, attending job fairs, and visiting college campuses. They also may test applicants, contact references, and extend job offers.

Our company is looking for a Recruiting Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline;
  • Participate in job fairs, online sources, career fairs, and advertising/marketing;
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of Talent Acquisition metric reporting;
  • Design, implement, and launch recruiting strategies to fulfill resource needs for open requisitions;
  • Share feedback and recommendations with hiring managers;
  • Partner with the Sourcing team to drive innovative & cost-effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse talent pool;
  • Screen resumes and identify qualified candidates;
  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process;
  • Communicate employer information and benefits during the screening process;
  • Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved;
  • Partner effectively with recruiting team peers and cross-functional partners (Compensation, HR, Systems and Programs teams, etc.);
  • Provide effective recruitment solutions by developing a solid understanding of the business as well as the external talent landscape;
  • Provides support to the HR Manager and VP of HR;
  • Assist with reporting requirements, including EEO reporting;
  • Performs standard office duties, such as faxing, copying, filing, and shredding.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in a concentration related to business, marketing, or life sciences required or equivalent in work experience;
  • Demonstrated experience/interface with senior level management and TA business partners;
  • Flexibility be available for meetings during business hours in time zones where clients are based;
  • Ability to appropriately handle highly confidential information and perform role with high degree of professionalism;
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and influence virtually and work with limited supervision;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Passive candidate search experience required;
  • Previous HR team experience is preferred;
  • Self-sufficient with demonstrated skills in full life cycle recruiting;
  • Understanding of confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information;
  • Strong organizational and communication skills;
  • Exhibit purposeful urgency when faced with pressing talent needs;
  • Possess great personal responsibility for ensuring problems are solved and hiring needs are met at any given point in the season;
