Our company is looking for a Residency Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Home Care Aid;
  • Provide care to residents following the service plan and assist in updating each resident’s service plan;
  • Assist in resident money management;
  • Create and uphold a clean and safe atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment;
  • Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with residents of this nature;
  • Provides laundry service including washing, drying, sorting, and putting away resident’s laundry;
  • Report promptly instances of injuries, behaviors, abuse, and safety hazards, etc. to the administrator and follow chain of command;
  • Keep all hazardous materials, medications, etc. in the designated locked location;
  • Accompany clients on outings and activities. (Specifically, medical appointments/specialist);
  • Maintain open communication with supervisor;
  • Maintain an ongoing inventory of client’s personal property;
  • Assists with the orientation of new staff members to job responsibilities;
  • Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly and provide first aid assistance;
  • Acknowledge the needs, wants, and rights of clients with dignity and respect;
  • Home Care Aide, HCA, CNA, Caregiver, Home Care Assistant.

Requirements:

  • An understanding of digital media and software;
  • Intermediate knowledge of clients’ basic plans, additional plans for client care needs and or behavior plans specific to client;
  • Home telephone or Cell phone;
  • Experience with file management;
  • Minimum 18 years of age;
  • Experience with photo and video editing;
  • Intermediate training relevant to mid-level client care needs and/or behaviors;
  • Current criminal background check, cleared by DSHS before working alone, unsupervised with clients;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint);
  • Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere);
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes;
  • High school graduate or equivalent;
  • Ability to supervise staff and provide on the job training to new staff;
  • Valid driver’s license or Washington State ID;
