Residency Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Residency Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Home Care Aid;
- Provide care to residents following the service plan and assist in updating each resident’s service plan;
- Assist in resident money management;
- Create and uphold a clean and safe atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment;
- Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with residents of this nature;
- Provides laundry service including washing, drying, sorting, and putting away resident’s laundry;
- Report promptly instances of injuries, behaviors, abuse, and safety hazards, etc. to the administrator and follow chain of command;
- Keep all hazardous materials, medications, etc. in the designated locked location;
- Accompany clients on outings and activities. (Specifically, medical appointments/specialist);
- Maintain open communication with supervisor;
- Maintain an ongoing inventory of client’s personal property;
- Assists with the orientation of new staff members to job responsibilities;
- Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly and provide first aid assistance;
- Acknowledge the needs, wants, and rights of clients with dignity and respect;
- Home Care Aide, HCA, CNA, Caregiver, Home Care Assistant.
Requirements:
- An understanding of digital media and software;
- Intermediate knowledge of clients’ basic plans, additional plans for client care needs and or behavior plans specific to client;
- Home telephone or Cell phone;
- Experience with file management;
- Minimum 18 years of age;
- Experience with photo and video editing;
- Intermediate training relevant to mid-level client care needs and/or behaviors;
- Current criminal background check, cleared by DSHS before working alone, unsupervised with clients;
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint);
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere);
- Knowledge of fabrication processes;
- High school graduate or equivalent;
- Ability to supervise staff and provide on the job training to new staff;
- Valid driver’s license or Washington State ID;
