Our company is looking for a Resident Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and supervise leisure time activities both in Center and out;
  • Complete daily reports which include beneficiaries entering, leaving, and unusual or otherwise noteworthy after-hours incidents;
  • Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army;
  • Enforcement of house rules and overall security of Adult Rehabilitation Center;
  • Crisis intervention counseling with residents/beneficiaries, as needed;
  • Report and document all violations of Center policies to Administrator and appropriate department heads each morning;
  • Assist Intake Coordinator with training, scheduling, and supervising Housemen, Deskmen, and Janitorial Crew;
  • Supervise part-time Assistant Residential Managers;
  • Assist with recording, maintaining, and organizing all necessary beneficiary information for Case Conference, and preparing for gratuity payments;
  • Conduct bed checks at appropriate times;
  • Asssist Intake Coordinator, as needed, to facilitate Food Stamp program.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate verbally with clients and staff;
  • Must have current valid driver’s license and have a clear Motor Vehicle Report;
  • Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations;
  • Must have a good level of computer knowledge to compose letters, manipulate spreadsheets and do data entry;
  • Regularly required to walk, talk and hear. Position requires climbing two flights of stairs regularly;
  • High School Diploma or GED.
