Resource Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Resource Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- TRAVEL Yes, 5 % of the Time;
- Be a mentor to field employees and coach when needed to help develop employees;
- Identify training gaps and make recommendations for employee development to Project Team members;
- Other duties as needed;
- Reviewing resource availability;
- Collaborate with Project Team Members to ensure staffing assignments are meeting the needs of the projects and employees;
- Maintains business unit reference materials. Provides assistance in the training and development of DSO and field personnel;
- Review Resource-Loading data to anticipate future staffing needs and make recommendations to the Project Executives;
- Support in the operation of the electric and gas distribution systems in a safe, efficient and reliable manner;
- Available for twenty-four hour callout;
- Auditing system for best use practices;
- Responsible for routing, supporting and directing field personnel during outage restoration, gas emergencies, and other emergency events;
- Will perform job responsibilities from remote locations if necessitated by business’s needs;
- Act as field HR liaison regarding employee relations issues;
- Additional support for Senior Operations Manager as needed.
Requirements:

- Knowledge of company safety and environmental rules;
- Ability to read and interpret maps;
- Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft products);
- Team player who works with others to achieve a common goal – paired with a strong level of confidence to say “no” diplomatically;

- Ability to problem-solve and support process improvement;
- Experience with Workfront project management system / technical capacity to learn and take ownership of the day-to-day operations of Workfront;
