Sales Business Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sales Business Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory variance analysis;
- Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data;
- Update weekly sell through and sell in data of all models in all sales channels;
- Publish weeks on hand report by channel and sell through / inventory on hand report of all retailers / distributors;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with budget and forecasts by channels;
- Drive the development of advanced analytics & reporting;
- Assists in preparation of regular sales forecasts and annual master plan budgeting;
- Support Global Account Manager as the internal coordinator for any issue or problems with Strategic Accounts.
Requirements:
- Experience with CE and retail experience is preferred;
- Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis;
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- Experience in analyzing numerical data trends;
- Experience in Consumer Electric industry and/or retail experience is preferred;
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various cross-functional teams;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels within AVX and Customer organization;
- Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment;
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written;
- Strong capabilities in using Excel;
- 2-5 years experience in business or sales analytics;
- 3+ years Business Analysis and/or equivalent experience requiring strong analytical and computer skills;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is required;
- Experience in building dashboards and models.
