Sales & Marketing Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sales & Marketing Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent knowledge and analytical capabilities in Excel, Access, or Power BI with solid business acumen;
- Provide Ad-hoc reporting to the marketing and sales functions, and key business partners;
- Support demand forecasting and revenue projections – ASR, annual budgeting, quarterly projections and monthly sales performance analysis;
- Proficient in SAP BI/BW & QlikView in the context of Reporting;
- 3-5 years of experience in analytical role supporting commercial operations – marketing and sales, ideally in a downstream capacity;
- Perform monthly financial reconciliation analysis;
- Strong quantitative and reasoning skills;
- Bachelor’s degree required. Preference for major in technical field, finance/accounting or business/marketing;
- Develop and manage effective relationship with marketing team to understand business needs and KPI’s;
- Track and report on third party data i.e. GHX, IQVIA, and ValueCentric data to support business planning and business operations;
- Strong presentation, communication skills and organizational skills;
- Provide accurate/timely data in a usable/automated format to visualize trends relative to strategyQualifications;
- Support the assessment of marketing programs, including marketing automation, and salesforce effectiveness;
- Support the analytical needs for new product launches and sales targeting;
- Mastery of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel (incl. advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, charts) and PowerPoint.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required in related area. (Math, Finance, Statistics, Business);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Match Functions and strong proficiency with PowerPoint;
- Ability to multi task, work in team and individual environment, pay attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines.
