Sales Tax Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sales Tax Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve post-sale tax issues;
- Work with prospective customers to establish sales tax exemption;
- Resolve tax exemption issues;
- Complete state sales and use tax audits;
- Work with existing customers whose sales tax exemption needs have changed;
- Manage, respond to, and resolve state and local tax inquiries;
- Proactively work with customers to address sales tax exemptions as they near expiration;
- Determine tax liability on all sales orders;
- Oversee the maintenance of customer sales and use tax permits.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
- Salesforce.com experience is a plus;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
