The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Responsibilities:

  • Tag SEC filings with XBRL;
  • Prepare SEC filings, involving quarterly and annual financial reports, proxy statements, 401k statements, and other required disclosures;
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly close schedules;
  • Perform controls around financial reporting;
  • Create and maintain financial reports and chart of accounts;
  • Develop process improvements to increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Oracle is a plus;
  • CPA preferred;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (3-5 years of accounting experience in a Corporate setting or public accounting is ideal);
  • Proficient or advanced in Microsoft Excel and Word;
  • Experience with extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) is a plus.
