Our company is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies;
  • Provide knowledge transfer;
  • Provides UI mock-ups and lead discussions to review design options;
  • Develop and support execution of test plans to ensure requirements and quality objectives are met;
  • Partner with Data Engineering to optimize data tracking/quality and drive data warehouse improvements;
  • Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology;
  • Assist in identifying data quality issues and recommend options and implement process improvements;
  • Organize sprint reviews with Product Owners to provide visibility and collect feedback;
  • Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements;
  • Work with the Product Owner to perform backlog grooming;
  • Develops industry expertise;
  • Validate that delivered software meets the stated user story acceptance criteria;
  • Maintain efficient Quality Assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and quality of data;
  • Prepare monthly analysis, for both ALAM, Inc. and ALAM Global : Focus on P&L (Sales, Volumes, Cost of Sales, Operating Income);
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Requirements:

  • Understand and enforce security and compliance protocol when working with sensitive and proprietary data sets;
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts;
  • Technical interview skills sufficient to facilitate group process design/requirements gathering sessions in a business environment;
  • Experience utilizing multiple elicitation processes to document, verify and confirm development requirements;
  • Bridge between different internal work groups to increase communication and move project forward;
  • Have an understanding of application landscape (UI, application, database, network);
  • Serve as project liaison between technology delivery and support teams and cross-enterprise business unit partners;
  • Engineering workbench;
  • Experience in health care industry and knowledge of health care data, metrics, and business concepts strongly preferred;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills and intermediate SQL skills required;
  • Must have experience in collecting business and functional requirements;
  • 5+ years’ experience in management consulting, business analysis, statistical analysis, data mining / processing, or programming skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience;
  • Proven problem-solving experience with high attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated experience working on implementation-based initiatives within the buy-side investment management technology marketplace.
